Ceramic items are fragile and may chip, crack, or break if dropped, knocked, or handled roughly. Before use and throughout the life of the product, inspect the item for any damage. If the item becomes chipped, cracked, broken, or develops sharp edges, discontinue use immediately and dispose of it safely.

Adult supervision is recommended whenever this ceramic item is being handled, including before, during, and after painting and decoration. We use Duncan Bisq-Stain® acrylic paints, specially developed for decorating ceramic bisque. These water-based paints provide vibrant colour and excellent coverage on ceramic surfaces and can be mixed to create custom shades. They are easy to use, clean up with soap and water while wet, and are certified non-toxic when used as directed by the manufacturer.

Adult supervision is recommended whenever paints, brushes, ceramic items, or other kit components are being used or handled. Paints should not be ingested, and hands should be washed after use.

Finished painted pieces are intended for decorative use only and are not food safe, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, oven safe, or waterproof.
